What really eats me up... Topic

bad luck you reminded me of this line:

"Vote for Ron Paul and I'm sorry to say, it'll be like Barry Goldwater versus LBJ".

It's from a hilarious parody called "You Should Vote Romney" (to the tune of Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me"). It's on You Tube if anyone wants to watch it (no, I'm not either of the guys in it and had nothing to do with it).

It references the Republican primary and basically says Romney isn't a great candidate but he's the only one that might have a chance to beat Obama (and we all know he didn't do that).

Jeb Bush would have been the most electable Republican candidate if not for the baggage contained in his last name...

Americans elected Obama because they feel he is the best guy for the job.

Just like the elected Bush twice.

America did not switch polices between 2004 and 2008.

They did not switch policies between 2008 and 2010.

They vote for people based on the person. There is abou a third that goes Pub and Dem ever time.

Obama destroyed the man and won. Romney tried to address the issues and lost.

Swamp...are you counting all of the outside campaigns or just the official Romney/Obama ones? Because surrogates like Trump was strictly an "ideas" guy right?

I still say Doug Christie all the way...Jeb wouldn't have carried Florida.

and we can just ignore all the Citizen's United $$$$  ?

There were some ads on both sides supported by super pacs. I dont think they reall made an impact.

The 1st debate changed the election more than any single thing. People were listening to the men.
11/11/2012 11:32 PM
The first debate made people listen. It also gave the false impression Romney won because he was bolder and appeared more confident, when in fact he provided far less substance during his answers than Obama did. The media and stupid people ate up the flash of Romney, while the intelligent saw that Obama had more substance.

Obama's "substance" has led to fewer people employed as of Election Day 2012 than there were on Election Day 2008.

Hah, I did....must have been thinking Pepperdine Basketball when I posted that!

There are a lot more factors which go into unemployment than those which are under the president's control, tecwrg.
11/12/2012 12:57 PM
I would assume that if a President promises to help put people back to work that he has some control over things.  Is that a bad assumption?
