if a guy has a good bat, what range/glove ratings would you go down to for a guy to play 2b on a bl team?

It would depend a lot on how good of a bat, and how bad I needed the bat in my line-up, but I've used 75/70.   I'd probably go as low as low 70s/upper 60s.

A 30 y/o player in HBD who is demanding a 3-year contract and is offered the following:

• 4 years $20M per, no trade clause
• 5 years at $15M, 15.5M, 15M, 15M, 13M (Player Option), no trade clause

Which contract would he select and why??

4 year.  Totals 80m while the other 73.5m.

I'd expect more like .280, .300 is too high especially for a RH hitter, but Buffalo does suppress contact hitters.    He might hit a little better but, if you get another S30 from him, I'd consider myself fortunate.   

How late before the draft if a FA signs with a team will the original team get the comp pick? Is it up until right before the draft? OR at some point does the comp pick go away?

Comp pick goes away when the HS/College players appear.

Scouting report on Rashad Jennings?

He filled in well for McFadden and actually looked better than DM.   I think he also missed 1-2 games due to injury(a problem he had in Jax).   I don't think he's a full-time back but is certainly capable of sharing duties.   And he catches the ball pretty well.

I suspect a lot of people are going to bag on the Raiders for having a pile of cap space and not spending it, but I think they are just unlucky enough to have the cap space in an offseason when there's not really a good selection of fresh players to spend it on. Almost every player who's scored a big deal so far looks like guaranteed dead money in the future. Agree or disagree?
