Actually now, another max tiebreaker question:  I play in an extreme pitcher's park (Portland).  Would that make me highly likely to lose out on, say, a slugging outfielder?

Do players heal better on the Disabled List than they would if you just rest them?

I'm not talking about the 60 day DL bug; I have a guy who suffered an 11 day injury, and I'm wondering if its worth it to put him on the DL.

If he lost any ratings due to the injury, he won't recover unless he's on the DL.

is there a thread anywhere showing what ratings are tied to what body part injury?  for instance, I just had a guy who hurt his forearm and I'm wondering what ratings would get a bump from a DL stint? (non-pitcher)

There isn't.   If he lost a point in any of the ratings, that will go up.   I can't recall what a forearm does and I have none on the DL for a forearm injury.

If I sign a guy to a spring training invite, where should he be assigned?  ML, AAA, does it matter?

Its been a couple years, real-time, since I've used a Spring Training Invite.

AAA.   That way you don't have the extra salary and can leave him in the minors.

how does simmy work when it comes to fatigued bullpens and bringing in position players to pitch? through bad planning on my part (and injuries to 2 of my sp's), we're all tired as ****. 4 or 5 games left in the regular season and trying to win the division. if I put all my relievers on rest does it turn to the position guys?

To be honest, I haven't ****** up so bad in the bigs that I've had to find out.   I don't think they turn to PP until all pitching options have been exhausted(and that means rested ones too).   I'd sign or call-up someone just to save yourself some problems.    This guy is in LoA if you have no cap space:  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Vic Cannon   Call him up and sacrfice him.

How often should this guy pitch?      He is a reliever    73 DUR 51 Health   Stamina 44   Very good splits. The previous owner has pitched him  130 and 145 innings in his 2 ML seasons.  With his health being 51   is that too much?  Pitching in 75 and 84 games those 2 seasons.
