I wouldn't but I think defense in RF is largely unimportant.   But, given the option between Range/Glove or Arm, I'd take the R/G combo.

is there a cutoff point as to when you can change/set your starting position players for a playoff game? cause the players I see in the box score are mos def not the ones I changed them to beforehand.

1 second before the game sims.   I'd guess you didn't save your changes.

Note that the LF has stolen second base everytime it was open. 

Assuming the SS plays adequate D, it's going to be the SS.   I think what you're trying to "prove" is that the 8 extra bags the LF took would put his SLG in the same ballpark if counted as a double(it would) but anyone who plays SS is more valuable than a LF due to defensive difficulty.

Assuming he's a good baserunner.   There's a difference between someone who can steal and someone who can run bases well.   But, all things being somewhat equal, I'd rather have a speedy leadoff man on 2nd with 2 outs than a lumbering slugger.
