O'Malley (LH) 80/83/62/79/79 with SPD/BR of 11/62  versus RHP

and 

Beltran (RH) 79/84/99/74/86 with SPD/BR of 57/25 versus LHP

In the playoffs, I'm considering just using Beltran as the DH regardless... should I stay with my platoon or give the spot to Beltran?

I fear I have been WAY too conservative with this guy's innings. Currently have him at 65/80 pitches. Where should I look to work him up to?

Assuming he's one of your better pitchers, I put him at 65/75 and, more than likely, pitch him every 4th day.   The alternative is 80/90 but I'm not fond of that because I think that reduces their effectiveness.

Some of my prospects have been absolutely hammering a few minor league teams throughout the season because some owners have failed to maintain their MiLB pitching staffs. Does that actually help them? Or is as simple as getting as many ABs and innings in under the direction of MiLB good coaches - performance be damned?

I'm of the belief that success/failure is irrelevant.   It's the playing time and coaches that matter.   And, of course, training budget.    As a commish, I've never been "MAINTAIN YOUR MINORS!!!"   I feel, if you want to give my guys 23 AB over a 3 game series, you're helping me develop my players.   That said, owners who don't maintain their minors generally leave a mess when they leave and/or miss the MWR. 

What patience number does a player have to be to want to resign with his current team and not want to test the FA waters?

Yeah, I don't know that one.   I know it's more than 50.

He should have a pretty good BL career.   Con/pow/VR/eye and a switch-hitter.   That .839 OPS seems about right.   Maybe even a higher.

I'd expect him to be over .900 OPS on the regular but he's had 2 1/2 seasons where he wasn't even close.   That seems odd.
