Raiders now 3-3 after defeating Chargers today. I think they can finish 9-7 after perusing through the remaining schedule. Will that be enough for a playoff spot?

If two of those 9 are vs Jets/Steelers, it's just about a lock.  If they lose the next two weeks, it will be a tough road.

It's reasonable but might be a death knell for playoff tie-breaker. 

I guess the outcome will depend who the Steelers play at QB: Roethlisberger, Vick, or Landry will it not?

I'm pretty sure BR is playing next week. 

Isn't this pretty funny?  The AL South in one of the test worlds.  A 100+ loss team will make the playoffs as a division winner.

Nice.    Test world and people stopped checking in 10 games into the season.    I guess that would explain some bugs.

Given the 82 negative plays in the last three seasons, how do you evaluate how badly this move cost the team?

My PPPS formula says a 1B makes just over 100 positive plays per season.    He averaged 77.   So he cost his team 23-24 outs each season.   Not that bad but, as a 1B with a .868 OPS, he probably shouldn't be costing them any.  Howeve, I imagine .868 in Wichita would be top 5 in the league for 1B.
