Do Patience and Dicipline ratings do or mean anything for coaches?

He's kinda old but I think they might have had a better with him playing QB instead of Orth.

- This is the coach's patience rating. The higher the rating, the easier it will be for him to tolerate and coach younger players. Of course, if he's really good in the other areas, his lack of patience may be acceptable.

- This is the coach's discipline rating. The higher the rating, the more focused he'll be on the fundamentals such as bunting, throwing strikes and hitting the cutoff man. Of course, this means he'll spend less time on some of the other important aspects of his role.

I use them as tie-breakers, more or less.   If I have some low control pitchers at a level, I'll hire a discipline guy.   

Not LSU.   If he's getting 15m buyout, I expect he'll be working for the SEC Network/ESPN for a  year.   I think GA is going to be looking for a coach too.

Why would the Sim bring a SuB into the 5th inning of a 2-1 game? I have 4 SuA and 3 SuB in my pen. All are set to any(inning), except one, who gets tired warming up.

This was the 3rd game of the season, and I had 2 SuA that have yet to throw.

You should get somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 PA.   Around 130 games.

Because it was the 5th inning, SIMMY may have factored in how many pitchers you'd need to complete the game.   SIMMY makes some odd choices at times but I can usually rationalize why.

It's not that big of a difference.  Maybe 4-5 games at 100%.    That said, I sometimes let my DH play fatigued because there are fewer injury opportunities.

In my latest HBD game my fake pitcher had a perfect game through 4.2 when the fake opposing batter attempted to bunt for a hit.  He was retired but is this cause for one of my fake pitchers to throw one into someone's fake ribs in the PM game?
