I have been using Jodie as a TandemB and had O'Shea as LRA. Last game used O'Shea as TandemA with Jodie as TandemB. Wondering:

1) Is O'Shea quality starter/tandem P, or was last game SSS and probably will not live up to stats?
2) Continue using O'Shea as TandemA and pitch as often as available?
2) Split them and use both as TandemB's with "traditional" starters? or
3) Some use I am not thinking about?

I'd use Jodie as a Tandem B in order to get as many innings from him as possible.   I started doing it with Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Matt Christensen when my bullpen couldn't get anyone out.

O'Shea, despite his stats, doesn't look like anything special to me.   I'd set him as SuA with a 25/30 PC.   He should get plenty of action.   If he isn't, start using him in Tandem B when Jodie isn't ready.

1) Agree with Mike that O'Shea is a modestly above average 3-inning pitcher, not a stud.  Still possibly a tandem depending on the rest of your staff.
2) If you do tandem O'Shea, either with Jodie or someone else, you'll want O'Shea in the "B" position so that your opponents can't load up with lefties against him.

Thanks for response -- evaluating P's is hard

Yeah, a lot of moving parts.   O'Shea has a career full of good results.   At some point, you can't say "small sample size".  But he just doesn't look like a pitcher I'd build around based on his ratings.
