Merged worlds have largely been a failure because of that.  Seems that a lot of owners were attached to winning and not necessarily the team.
Are merged worlds really more of a failure than a world that sits with 10+ openings for 2 + months?
That's sort of what the merged worlds became after a few seasons.
Then merge 'em again!

The way I see it, the faster a world rolls, the more money WiS makes.  If more worlds roll faster by merging them, then that's good.  If they run themselves out of supply by merging worlds, then that's good too, because then they can allow the creation of new worlds.  Everyone loves new worlds.  It's win-win if you ask me.

Yeah, but for some reason WIS doesn't believe in following logic or catering to the customer. They would prefer to just milk this as long as they can, then close up shop when the ti*t runs dry. FOX won't have a problem with that. Seriously, WIS has done nothing lately to keep themselves relevant. That's why everyone is leaving. Unless WIS does something soon to help those who want to move this thing forward, I doubt if I devote any new money to this addiction after my current allotment of seasons is used up.

There are about 100 worlds that move along just fine.   Say they make $600 on each world.   6k every three months for doing nothing.   That says a few things:

1.  Everyone isn't leaving.
2.  A company makes money by simply keeping the doors open(albeit not much but money is money).
3.  Someone is always quitting if something isn't done.

i know we are discussing merging in PARKS, be a shame to lose the unique set up there but  a suggestion was to find 3 worlds willing to merge to make 2 out of them...we need 10 to roll currently, not exactly sure what the count willing to merge  is at this moment in time....but 3 into 2 or similar doesnt sound too bad

Do you mean $60k every 3 months? $100*$600=$60K.

So, if those #s are close to accurate, they are making $240K annually on HBD without much direct expense.

Considering this is now a tool for FOX Sports predictions, any $ made is bonus

Yeah.   A quarter mil is a drop in the bucket for FOX but, if you can make a quarter mil by doing pretty much nothing, that's pretty nice.

And now come full circle.
Why is there no dev chats, upgrades? Because they don't need to. And frankly, we don't seem to need it, else we all would have left.

But schumacher said everyone was leaving.   Do you mean they're not?

Ok, so we have ALL owners in agreement to merge, so we are good to go for the Regulars.  I just sent a sitemail to admin.

I just sent this to admin "Ok, we have total commitment from all owners in Regulars to merge.  I've been in contact with kcatlantis and we are looking to merge with his world and a third (I think Cowbell).  How can we make this happen?  If this doesn't happen, there is talk that all 3 worlds will die and those owners may not re-up in their other worlds.  No one wants this to happen, so please help us with this merge and let us know what we need to do.  Thanks, JJ"

All of WIS is a drop in the bucket to Fox. But, it's probably a nice little profit center. Minimum expenses, steady stream of profit. Still dont know why TK sold..I doubt if the Fox purchase added all that many paying customers.
