Have a free agent saying this:  "Unless you really surprise me with a great offer, I'm filing for free agency."
I know I've seen someone post before that there is a certain percentage over asking you need to do. Forget what it is. Help please.

Per year, it's 1.5 x the demand.  Mike has said that it can also be done by extending the number of years and I'm sure he's right, but I don't know how many years or how reliable that is.

One extra year at +20%(at least in my experience) for all years.     I'm sure there are other numbers/years that will work.
