Ive seen it before but why the hell does a player have a big ratings drop when assigned to a team, after signing as a free agent. Especially when they are 24. I have a solid coaching staff as well.

I signed a guy to be a bench bat and he dropped a bunch. Kirk Suppan

I would guess that it is well into ST and he was just sitting there.

Guys begin to lose points at some point during ST, I think it's after the 8th ST game, but can't remember exactly.

Mike can say for sure.

If not signed by the 3 PM cycle after the 8th ST game, players are likely to take a ratings hit.
