You really think they're just going to beat Philly easily?

So long as Pierce's injury doesn't really badly affect his play, yes.

Like moranis said, Boston in 5 or maybe 6 sounds about right.

I would like to officially take back anything and everything negative that I may have said about KG the last two years.

All is forgiven.

I am definitely worried about Pierce.  He doesn't look healthy at all.  Doesn't bode well for the series going forward

should have blown the team up

damn straight, although the damn thing is just sitting there for Boston now.  Who could have imagined Rose would go out and Philly would eliminate the Bulls and then Bosh would get hurt in the second round and will probably still be out in the ECF.  Crazy **** happens all the time, but that is like destiny for Boston.  Now they just have to capitalize on it.

Weren't you the "don't blow it up" guy all season?  The best option still would be a boarder (who can play over 15 mins a game).   With a little more rebounding, they'd be up 2-0.

curious to know what celtics fans think.....

bradley is an amazing defender....hes taken lou williams completely out of this series....but do you guys see him as the future 2 guard for you?

I think he would be a great fit starting against certain teams, but is too undersized to be a consistent long term starter at the off guard spot.  He is however great as the first guard off the bench, especially if he increases his ball handling a bit (to the point where he could come in either at point or at the off guard).  Optimally he would improve his ball handling so much that he could start at point as a sort of combo type guard (like westbrook, rose, etc., but clearly not that talented).

Against Atlanta after Horford came back, which moved Johnson back to the 2 guard spot, Bradley was overwhelmed by Johnson's size, and that will always be a problem for him, especially if he ever loses a step in the quickness department.

Yes, I was being sarcastic while venting about game 2

Yes

Not in a way that we should write him in using pen, but I'm certainly OK with him being in the starting lineup for as long as we have him.

He's elite defensively and rapidly trending toward decent on offense.  He was a complete zero on offense last year, and this year showed amazing progress throughout the course of the season.  He's still only 21 and has a long way to grow, I'd guess that he becomes an average offensive player with upside for a bit more.  But if he's a 5/10 on offense and a 10/10 on defense, that justifies a long term starting job to me.

The one complaint is that due to being undersized + unable to run the offense, it sort of limits your possible pairings with him.  But I still believe there are more than enough guys that will work alongside him (esp with the growing trend of the two PG lineup, his size is becoming less of an issue).  Bottom line is that he's good though, and that's what matters.
