Trying to figure this one out....

In a 64M anything goes league, I decided to unleash some sub-1 mil players for one game just for fun.

It was game 70 in the season and none had played more than a handful of minutes. I gave them each 35-40 min.

Pg Sidney Lowe (40% ast)
SG 94-95 Trevor Ruffin (over 50% efg)
SF 10-11 Novak (over 70% efg)
PF Lebron
C 1.1M Wilt

Anyhow, wilt went off with 12oreb/25dreb and plenty of pts,

Lowe was fine,

But oddly, Ruffin went 0-20 (0-10 on 3) with 12 TO and Novak went 1-15 (1-12 on 3)

Now, I understand the SIM can be funky. But it seems too big of a coincidence that this occurred. Two good percentage guys go 1-35?? Too improbable to be random.

Both players finished the game at 100% usage and like I said, this was their only run in 70 games.

Is there a hidden factor I am not aware of that somehow caused both players to play like 0% fatigue scrubs?

Read upside down:

05/08 16:39 ashamael The system is put in place to keep someone from saving minutes up on guys to use them 48mpg in the playoffs (example: 85-86 Jordan. I had him in a progressive and wanted to keep his PPG realistic, so I was saving him for 10 games at a time to play him a normal 30+ minutes. He shot like 27% from the field because his fga/82g was significantly lower than what he was actually attempting)
05/08 16:37 ashamael it's all relative. a 40mpg guy playing 4 extra minutes is normally okay. a 4mpg guy playing 4 extra minutes ****s the bed.
05/08 16:37 ashamael tad: No, you cannot. There's a built-in system to avoid a potential exploit (which I disagree with). If you play guys far above their Total minutes/82 games, they are more likely to take more shots (in game longer). At a certain point, players hit the individual usage penalty (when they take far more shots than they did per 82 games). That's why trying to play a partial season player 48 minutes backfires.

I kind of figured but why did Wilt tear it up?
That's what I didn't get, he wasn't affected by it at all

If you have a guy who can play four minutes a game can you get away with playing him 12 minutes every third game?

B/c Ruffing has 35% usage and was shitting the bed for you.  You didn't post Wilt's shooting numbers (just his rebounds).

No.  Did you read what I posted?  I mean... you can do it, but his shooting will suffer greatly.

Wilt was 10-18 in 45 min...that seemed strange in this reality you described considering he avg 6mp82

Tang, it's the same factor your seeing in the ATBA. In the ATBA you intentionally drafted a team to lose so you could rebuild, that team is currently heading for the PO's. (lol) SIM is approaching AI and seems to have a personality, that personality is "Basicly Evil"! Therefore if you try to lose it hands you more "W's" than you would like to see. btw, you'll probably get bounced in conf finals. lmao
