Thanks, five years.  Teams have to qualify for either the NT or PIT in 4 of the 5 seasons.

How do you determine the order? Is there an explanation in one of these other dynasty threads?

It's based solely on post-season results. To be eligible, you have to appear in either the NT or PIT in 4 of the last 5 seasons. 

A point value is given for the results, with the most recent season counting the most.  For instance, a NT championship is worth 38 points this season. But, if you won it 5 seasons ago, it's value drops to 22.8

This is the closest rankings I've had.   Emporia, So. Arkansas, or Salem would've been #1 with one more NT win.   Incarnate Word would've been #1 is they'd won one NT game, instead of going to the PIT
