I'm trying to rank a draft prospect who projects to 100 contact, 100 power, 50/60 l/r, and about 75 eye.

Have you ever seen or had any players with similar numbers? How'd they do?

Thanks, and happy Labor Day weekend.

While in Pennsylvania this morning, I saw a pick-up truck with a front license plate that said "Number 1 Raiders Fan!"

Was that you, or have you been knocked down to #2?

I've been missing my plate for about three weeks.   SOB must have stole it.   Tell me what part of PA so I can hunt that bastard down.

Derek Carr is the Raiders starting QB, are you excited as I am that Schaub is out? Would you have preferred McGloin start this week vs. the Jets? What will the Raiders record be this season?

I'm not a Schaub fan so I'm pretty happy.  I don't think it will result in wins but getting the experience will be good(assuming he doesn't go the way of his brother and become gunshy).  No, McGloin wasn't the future.   There are only 4-5 wins on that schedule.   6-10 would have to be considered successful.

If you have a pitcher with pitches of 75, 50, 45, and 40, how good do his splits have to be to make him more than a AAAA guy? How good do they have to be for him to be a #3-4 starter?

I'd say 70 control plus 70 splits would put him in the bigs.   Probably need closer to 80 to get him to a SP3.

Any idea what I should do with this team to prevent losing 100 games for the fifth straight season?  Wichita Aviators

You scored 700+ runs so I think you have enough hitting to compete.    Your fielding is bad, SS needs a serious upgrade, and your pitching is terrible.    I'd upgrade at SS and CF on the defensive side(neither of your starters are elite hitters) first and then try to get a couple of pitchers.

Is it better to help the pitching with a big glove at SS, or to go with offense and hope to have enough arms?
9/3/2014 12:58 PM
I'm pretty big on SS D.  That would definitely help your pitching but scoring a shitton of runs will help win games.

Here's one I bet you haven't been asked before...

Do you spend more of your HBD time these days taking care of your teams, or answering the questions of others?
9/3/2014 2:03 PM
It varies.   One world is in ST after a heavy trading pre-season and another is preparing to roll(I missed the playoff so I wasn't doing much with that one).  I had the other two since inception and they're playing pretty well.   So they're kind of on cruise control.    Right now, I answer more questions.  In a week, it will be working on teams.

Part 1: Who would you start this week at WR between Mike Wallace and Reggie Wayne?

Part 2: Who would you put at Flex between loser of Part 1 and Darren Sproles?
