Weak splits, but other ratings good, and he's been better than I would have expected so far (his first season ERA is misleading, because the previous owner of the team abused the pitching staff). Can he keep up an ERA near 4.00 if I keep him as a starter through his last two arbitration years?

Using my formula for Charleston, he would be the 3rd/4th best pitcher on my staff with a stamina over 50.   That team just lost the WS in 6.    I think he'd be better in relief but, he has over 500 innings and 77 starts, and he's a little worse than league average.   If he was thrown out there fatigued early in his career, he's probably closer to league average. 

Your ideal choice for Raiders coach is?

I have no idea.   I have to be realistic so no major college coach is going to the Raiders.  That's like a step back.   Maybe James Franklin will tire of PSU and take a shot at the NFL.   If you can win at Vandy, you can win anywhere.

It would appear at first glance that their best hope for a win is home against Buffalo in Week 16. Where do you see the best chance to win? I would have said Week 1 against the Jets but it didn't work out.

I think the AZ, Cleveland and STL games are winnable.   I don't think the Raiders will be favored in any of them but they could win those along with the Buffalo game.  My guess is they win 1 or 2 of those 4.   Maybe they beat a division foe at home or maybe Denver sits everyone in the last game.
