(Coached by: tkimble, Conference: ODAC, WIS Ranking: #7)
Coming off a season in which they held the #1 ranking the majority of the year, garnered the overall #1 seed, and marched to the title game only to lose on a jumper in the last 5 seconds, Roanoke will come out looking to have that same success. This year's team features even more upper-classmen than last's, and despite losing 1st-team All-American and ODAC POY Edwin Wright, Roanoke still boasts some of the best players in the country, including pre-season 2nd and 3rd team PGs Anthony Pasillas
and Carlos Caldwell
. The barrage of 3s from those two along with the athleticism in the front court and depth off the bench will lead Roanoke to good places this year, hopefully and ODAC championship. In exhibition, they already beat a very good Colorado team (appearing below) and crushed Milwaukee Engineering, last year's Title Game opponent. The non-conference schedule does feature some rivalry games, but no big-time match-ups will be played until the ODAC schedule starts.
