Guess how Joss did! Topic

71 IP is about 9 or 10 games...  So if there are 5 of them, they'd pitched an average of 2 games.  And if they are Josses they were probably #1 in 2-man rotations which would mean they would had to lose both games, otherwise their team would have advanced to the next round.  But then again they could have gotten some no decissions and I am suspecting some teams had mutiple addies...  So I will say 3-5.

Damn, you got it exactly right after you revised it!

Like the playoffs, its alot about luck.  But I missed the games pitched by a wide margin.  I figured they went 3-5 in 10 games, not 15.

This was the OL where I drafted a team specifically to beat Joss. I'm a bit disappointed there won't be one for me to face in the WS. But I did get to rough up 1908 Addie a bit in the LCS (2 starts, 8.1 innings, 10 ER).

Enjoy the WS irony crazystengel. Especially if you win.

Plays out like a classic revenge tale. The whole year spent waiting for a chance to topple that dirty rat Addie. And when the big moment comes, he doesn't show. What now do you have to fight for? Is a title still a title with no Josses to defeat? Will it be a hollow victory stripped of meaning, or do you look beyond hatred of your team's arch-rival a find a sense of greater fulfillment in taking home the trophy? If you lose do you blame Joss for not being there?

Ha!  Actually my WS opponent has two right-handed deadballers (10 Walsh and 14 Hendrix) who will suffice as stand-ins.  If I squint a bit, they'll look just like Addie.

Those AAA #'s are an OL team's dream.....

Remember napolean that those AAA boys played half their games at Hilltop. Still, that's quite an amazing amount of production for $1.2 mil there.

Playing themes all the time, I do sometimes miss the free bench of open leagues.

We swept the WS (although 3 of the games were close).  My opponent threw Hendrix and Walsh out for all 4 starts.  All told we went 11-1 in the post-season, the lone loss resulting from a 9th inning collapse by our otherwise reliable pen who blew a 3-run lead in the 9th.  I think we faced deadball starters in 11 of the 12 games.
