2011 has not been a great year for sports and CBAs. It looks like the NBA is going to miss a whole season. The NFL only got done in an 11th hour deal, and the shortened training camps have been blamed for the league's poor defensive play this season. The MLB even has a renewal due soon, although no one believes that there will be a work stoppage (you never know though!).

This league is here to "honor" a few past notable MLB work stoppages. It will only focus on the years that resulted in missed games, so 1972, 1981, and, of course, 1994. You will pick three captains, one player from each of those seasons. The captains must have at least 6 WiS eligible seasons. I will then randomize the captains, separating by year, and assign you a set. You must use the labor stoppage season in question for your captain. From there, you will fill out the rest of your team by choosing teammates of your captains during any season they played, but no twisting.

Clones are allowed, but only if the player played for different captains. So, say if you get Andre Dawson for 1981 and Larry Walker for 1994, you could use Tim Raines twice.
