Every 3000 you see after 10/18/2008 is a theme league. There's also one that I won where they only gave me a cash credit because it was the free team they gave us a few years ago when they didn't put out the new roster for several months. So that's 22 theme league titles. 22 out of 51 - nearly half. And as you can see, I've been buying 6-packs with those credits for years. Five of my last nine have been in theme leagues. My most recent was in the $52M draft league.
So when I can do this and literally play for years without having to spend real money on teams... well, that means you might want to pay attention to what I say & actually do instead of your preconceived notions based off of whatever emotion it is that drives you. Or continue as you are... Either way, I sincerely wish you luck. I have no desire to continue any kind of mudslinging with you - or anybody - nor do I wish to continue bringing up 'the facts' to put you in your place. You say something is a fact then show no evidence of it. What I say, anybody can look up by clicking on my name in this forum or any league. Let's put all of this slanderous nonsense in the past and return to the way things were before: You, a promising owner on the website who says random crazy stuff in league chats that makes everybody laugh & me... the grizzled vet who freely hands out advice to help people better understand this randomized monstrosity WIS calls the SIM.
I will say this... most of what I have taught in this thread is pretty basic stuff. It's great advice to get people going & to put themselves in a state where they can better themselves. Give a man a fish / teach a man to fish type deal. But no, I don't share all of my strategy here or anywhere - I say very little about the coaching tweaks or the micro-managing I do all season long & the playoffs, and I deleted the deep detailed post-season analysis section I had before a couple of years ago - but just because I'm not sharing all of my secrets doesn't mean that the 75% or whatever I do share isn't good advice. And the fact that I care enough to update it every few months ought to count for something as well.
So, please, get off my back. There's absolutely no reason to spam this thread - or any other - with childish mudslinging. There's no need for ******* contests. Nobody cares who has the bigger e-peen. I've had major issues with many owners in the past but have been able to come to at least a civil agreement - if not become friends with - all of them... save you & one other. Let's change that sentence to end a different way, shall we?
Happy Valentine's Day, dude. I hope you had a good one. I sure did.
