IHL is a draft style league that uses 2 player pools to form teams.   One pool is progressing (presently at 85/86) and the other is regressing (presently at 62/63).   Teams are mix of players for both pools (owners are NOT limited to one pool etc).

No limit on keepers, No Salary Cap, Trading of draft picks limited to next draft only,  IR max is 2, Random Divisional Alignments (makes for some real fun!..never know who will be in your div!),   Non Playoff teams subject to a Weighted Draft Lottery for 1st round picks (2+ rounds as they finish in reg season), Playoffs teams are put in draft order based on how they do in the playoffs for ALL draft rounds..cup winner always in #24..
