It is the season of the World Championships, and I wanted to create an international league that opened up the chances for success.

League ID 28309

The league will consist of teams exclusively made up of one country. Half the leagues teams will be USA or Canada.. the other half can be from any other international powerhouse (USSR/Russia, Sweden, Finland, and Czech/Slovakia). Those halves will be in different conferences to keep the league more well rounded. The only prerequisite for a player to be on your team is that he has to be from that country. You can twist any season of that player you wish to make your team as skilled as possible.

There will be a few restrictions in order to prevent Canadian dream teams from being overloaded.

1. All players on your team must be below 90 on the D level
2. Only players from 1950 and beyond are allowed... No Malones or Charlie Langlois types
3. If a player has dual citizenship, he plays for the country he is most recognized for... Brett Hull is Team USA... etc

There will be no trades, no WW, Playoff Intensity off... injuries are at normal levels... Cap will be set at 125 million. 2 team max per owner.. can be of the same conference, but cannot be of the same country. 

League ID will up soon if interest gets going quick... I will start by taking a USA team and Canada team

I really hope this league will fly. I will join with a Russian team (ugh, but...) and a Czech team.

I don't think my league is going to fly.  The reason I broke Canada down into Provinces was to avoid stacked teams.  I really liked the British Columbia team!

Put me down for Sweden!

Been called away for a business trip for a few days.. but when I return.. league number will be up and we will get this show up and running

The league has been created and is awaiting ticket approval for cap changes. When I have that, I will be sending out League ID to owners
