Just starting the playoffs and have (for now) two openings for next season. This is a private world with many long term owners so ther is some stability in what we do. The two open teams, one AL/one NL, have both been well cared for so you will not inherit a disaster. If interested please site mail me for more details. The NL team is located in the always tough West division and is anchored by a 25 year old phenom at 1b. This guy is currently contending for the MVP vote after a monster season and is just waiing for that long term contract. Pitching staff is serviceable but needs a key player or two added to help round things out.

The AL team has had the same owner since season 8 with some strong veteran hitters lead by an MVP candidate who missed part of the season and still put up outstanding numbers. Definitely built to be a power team with 6 players hitting 20+ HR and five with more than 90 RBI. Pitching may be a little suspect for a hitters park but there is plenty of young talent to evaluate. This team also plays in a traditionally tough division where playing .500 ball means finishing fourth sometimes!

Looking for another owner to help abuse my poor team of misfits

This is my favorite world - well balanced with high turnover in champions and low turnover in owners, not to mention having the same excellent commish for all 22 seasons..  World chat is active, civil, and enthusiastic.

The three available franchises won 71, 80, and 92 games in the season just completed.  All three will begin next season with about $40mil less than last yr in contracts, so you will have an opportunity to put your personal stamp on any of them immediately.
