does anyone know how to set up the 5-2 defense to be the most effective?

currently i play my 5-2 balanced & very con. for the main and all formations but i still give up way too many passing yards. suggestions?

The answer is to use a 4-3 or Nickel or something else as a pass defense.

Not to insult you, but you do know that the 5-2 is 5 DL and 2 LBs, not 5 DBs and 2 LBs? You might be thinking of a 4-2-5.
