We have five four three two no teams available for Season 16 in Double Mendoza. We have a really competitive league each year, likely due to our relatively stable ownership, our minimum win requirements (125 over any two year period), and our $100M salary cap. Last season we had one team in the NL win more than 92 games (98), and one won less than 67. The AL had three teams win more than 92 games (93, 103, and 104) and one team below 67 wins.

Here are the teams available:

The former Kansas City Masterpiece (NL East) - owned for 15 years by the same coach, this team was 78-84 last season. It has the 16th pick in the draft next year, and a returning payroll of less than $40M. The team has (12) first-round or supplemental round picks in its farm system from the past five seasons: #s 16, 18, 19, 22, 28, 33, 35, 45, 48, 50, 60 and 61. They have no international prospects of note. The team has (12) players at 70 overall to 79 and (1) at 80 and over.

The former Tuscon Coyotes (NL West) - owned for the past 6 years by the same coach, this team was a division champion last season at 88-74. It has the 26th pick in the draft next year, and a returning payroll of less than $55M. The team has (5) first-round or supplemental round picks in its farm system from the past five seasons: #s 7, 16, 30, 49 and 61. They have no international prospects of note. The team has (13) players at 70 overall to 79 and (4) at 80 and over. This is a playoff team in season 16.

The former San Francisco Zodiacs (AL West) - owned for the past 6 years by the same coach, this team finished last season at 72-90. It has the 8th pick in the draft next year, and a returning payroll of less than $50M. The team has (10) first-round or supplemental round picks in its farm system from the past five seasons: #s 2, 3, 3, 4, 7, 11, 35, 44, 47, and 54. They have signed (3) international prospects of note ($5M or more) over the past five seasons. The team has (15) players at 70 overall to 79 and (4) at 80 and over. This should be a young playoff team in season 16.

The former Scottsdale Tonk Time (AL West) - a team that has had mixed success of late, this team finished last season at 77-85. It has the 14th pick in the draft next year, and a returning payroll of less than $46M. The team has (12) first-round or supplemental round picks in its farm system from the past five seasons: #s 17, 17, 27, 30, 36, 43, 46, 50, 51, 51, 65, and 71. They have no international prospects of note ($5M or more) over the past five seasons. The team has (12) players at 70 overall to 79 and (2) at 80 and over.

The former Texas Rangers (AL South) - a team that has fallen on tough times of late, this team finished last season at 61-101. It has the second pick in the draft next year, and a returning payroll of less than $36M. The team has (8) first-round or supplemental round picks in its farm system from the past five seasons: #s 6, 11, 31 48, 49, 57, 63, 69. They have signed no international prospects of note over the past five seasons. The team has (14) players at 70 overall to 79 and (1) at 80 and over. This team can be rebuilt quickly.

No. Really. It's an excellent league.

It's the 100M Salary Cap that helps to keep the league so balanced and it seems to be getting more balanced each year.

If you appreciate parity, this is the league for you.  The NL play-off race in season 14 was the most exciting one I've ever seen.

These are both good teams, and can either be rebuilt fast, or built to contend today.
