So I just started looking for recruits for my San Diego team in Stagg and of the top 50 players in my vision (all above 700 total) There are NO potential top 1AA attribute players in the southern California area. I know ratings aren't the end all, but come on, WIS' player distibution doesn't attribute LA to having any football players?  Norbert - insight into why? San Diego has enough trouble sometimes recruiting, (we can't even get kickers from TJ), but to not have any players in LA?

Yeah, it's more than a little ridiculous.

California
37 million people and about 155,000 square miles.  7 DIA schools.  In Heisman, California has 14 of the top 200 recruits

New England (MA, ME, VT, NH, CONN, RI)
New England 14 million people and about 61,000 square miles.  2 DIA schools.  In Heisman, New England has 14 of the top 200 recruits.

You can also try those traditional recruiting hotbeds like Michigan (9 of the top 200 in Heisman), Minnesota (8 of the top 200 in Heisman) or Indiana (6 of the top 200 in Heisman).
