i played one year of GD but had a hard time understanding recruitng and gameplanning for GD so i lost interest and did not renew?
but should i give GD another try and if i do is there anyone out there who can really help me understand GD more?
I would say come on board, if your playing then you will have a voice to at least give some input on what you like and what you don't.
P.S. hey Norbert: can you concentrate on getting rid of the "whiners" before you change the engine?
Try reading Jibes post. It's an easy fix instead of asking for more regulations.
How am I asking for more regulations? GD needs to have as much imput as possible to help Norbert fix it. I personally am fine with the engine as is. It amuses me that it seems as if most of the coaches that complain about the engine are the "successful" coaches that can't believe they would use a game or the guys that come on here and don't really understand football. The issue that needs to be fixed is certain areas of recruiting such as sims following a budget etc...
Recruiting could be better I agree. But as it is compared to the faultiness of the engine recruiting is excellent. Compared to the engine and other aspects of coach control recruiting should never be touched until the rest is gotten right.
I repeat, recruiting could be better, and I hope that it too gets some attention in the future. But get the rest fixed first.
This is not a few people that feel this way, this is a great majority of the GD populace. This engine is why worlds are at 30% full. It evidently isn't just the "successful" veterans that feel this way. It must be the newcomers feelings too, b/c they don't seem to stay long once they get a good taste of the randomness.
