This game is so f-ing frustrating right now.  Check out my game today vs. Simmie Temple and their pathetic RB's who are managing to run all over us.

Pathetic.

Seriously???  RB's with borderline DII skills having their way with our DIA team?

Whoever recruited those RBs is an awful manager according to WIS.  What did you do recently to **** WIS off?  Could be why you're losing today.

Another reason why Yatzr's is the bomb in my book.

According to his game analyzer the Offensive IQ is 24 and your D. IQ is 13 in the 4-3 and 14 in the Nickel.  Your getting beat because they have a better overall team with better core group than your D. core group.

I looked a little further and your Formations at your DL are all under 18 for a bunch of Fresh and Soph.   , you may consider increasing your practice times for formations to get them over the 30 mark.   IMO , 30 is the magic mark where they start to impact the game more with less offsides and basic Off. reads.

On a side note your Offense is a bit shaky too

Offensive IQ in Trips is 16 versus your opponents 27 at Nickel and 28 at 4-3

Since when is running for 88 yards on 18 carries "running all over" someone?  Either way, you can't really expect to have a dominant rush defence when you are starting 3 freshman, 3 sophomores, and only 1 junior in your front seven.

Sure you can. Some of my best DL seasons have come from underclassmen. Formation IQ doesn't make THAT big of an impact that starting freshmen and sophomores will hurt you.

I disagree ceasari, especially at DIA. Not saying you can't start underclassman and be successful, but they simply won't be AS good as they will be when their formation IQ has increased at least to 25-30. Just MHO...

Agreed 100% !  DIA will humble you if you dont look at Formation IQ as a major factor

I am finishing out my last seasons on all four of my teams and using the rewards for HBD. need a break from GD.  It just frustrates the crap out of me. plan on coming back post update to give it a look.

Cool.

Apparently this game is all formation IQ now!

HEY GUYS! DON'T BOTHER RECRUITING ANYMORE!!! JUST TEACH THE CRAP OUT OF YOUR FORMATIONS!!!

This is a giant Peter North load of manure. I wish my cousin would look into suing this "company" for false advertising.

I'm not disagreeing with the fact that Form IQ can make a difference, but just that Fr. and Soph. starters can fare just fine without it. Now, I would prefer good Form IQ, but I never look at that when deciding who to start.

Sorry but formation IQ does not yet over trump talent.  It isn't as big of a deal as you guys are making out.  It is being designed to but isn't there yet.  I recently took teams deep into the POs with NO Formation practice.  Could they have won it all if they had practiced?  I doubt it as the other teams I had did practice formations and got the same kind of results.

But Bhouska,  Most of these guys on here will find some reason it was YOUR fault and not the screwed up game.  According to them your just another guy that has no clue what he is doing.  Yatzrs is a good tool but it isn't the only way to do things.  It isn't like he is the dominating force in GD.  He does well and is a great guy But his stuff is just tools.  Bhouska, you just may be one of the teams figured in to the upset bug.  The game has to have its 10% daily upsets, (JContes own words) and you qualified and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

There must be some random factor world wide that makes it an "Sim Upset Special" day. Tkae a look the next time you lose or have an unexpected hard game against a sim. Odds are a lot of other teams are in the same boat on that particular day.

Grindi is right.  FIQ does not trump talent.  It can and does play a factor.  I'm not convinced that that there is an "upset bug" but it certainly sounds like one of those days when the rolls of the dice all end up on the small end of the probability curve.
