(*) Each season we will be eliminating at least 2 owners from the league.
(*) If eliminated, your franchise is either offered out to someone on the wait-list or it is disbanded.
(*) Any disbanded franchise players will go back into the following years draft.
(*) Drafts will begin ASAP in some cases while previous season is taking place. Idea of the league is to go through all preceding seasons in time to play the 2014 season LIVE Rotisserie format using your WIS players as keepers!
(*) All accumulated WIS prize $ will be distributed to the top 3 winners of the LIVE Roto league after the 2014 season.
(*) Because we are starting out with 28 teams and the player pool will be shallow, all teams will have 6/6 AAA of the lowest quality until the league weeds down to 24 teams. Also, DHs will not be incorporated until we weed down to the 24 teams.
(*) You will be allowed to play players out of position due to the composition of the league, but remember, you risk being eliminated if you have the fewest wins in the league. (see Biggest Loser criteria for elimination below)
(*) Ballparks must be drafted. (30 active MLB Parks)
Criteria for elimination: (elimination apply to league commishes as well)
1. Roll-call: Any team which fails to post their roster in the league's Roster thread without requesting additional time from the commish will be eliminated. Rosters must be finalized by the Transaction deadline. I.E. during the 2007 season, all teams will need to post their 2008 roster (keepers) by the transaction deadline for that season.
2. Delay of Game: If you fail to draft or enter your team within a 3 day window, you will be eliminated. In other words, if you disappear without any communication for 3 days straight, you are eliminated.
3. Wins floor: If you fail to win 40 games at the transaction deadline, you will be up for elimination.
a. If there are already 2 to 4 owners being eliminated due to roll-call, or Delay of Game rules above, you will be spared elimination.
b. If an owner goes MIA, you will be placed on the waitlist to take over their franchise.
c. Once on the wait-list, you will be at the top of the list for all future seasons. I.E. if you didn’t make the wins floor for 2007 and were eliminated, if there is an opening via 2008, you will be given the option to take over the franchise.
4. Biggest Loser: if there are no eliminations via roll-call, Delay of game, or Wins floor, owner(s) who won the fewest games will be eliminated.
a. You will be placed atop the wait-list above Wins Floor owners. Any franchise which becomes available will be offered to these owners first.
Frachise becomes available only if the number of eliminated teams goes above the scheduled number of teams to be eliminated for that upcoming season.
