World Spahn is about to roll over to season 24. We have worked hard to make it a great world since we went private a few seasons ago. We have an extremely active world chat board, passionate owners who love baseball & Hardball Dynasty, possibly the most active blog in all of HBD, and fair and objective private world rules (please read them below.)

Private World Rules

1. Winning % Rule
All owners are required to maintain a .400 better winning % at the ML level every season. If a franchise has a season where it falls below .400 winning percentage they will be notified. A second consecutive season under .400 winning % will be reviewed after the season by the Veteran Committee and the Commissioner and could result in removal. A 3rd consecutive season under .400 winning % will result in automatic removal from Spahn.

2. Minor League Management
All franchises are required to maintain full rosters at all minor league rosters, minimum 25 players with more recommended. Those 25 should include an appropriate number of position players and enough pitchers to prevent their pitching staff from falling to 0 stamina for an extended period.  There is no expectation to daily management of the minor leagues or of talent level and no minimum winning percentage in the minor leagues. You can have the AI manage all levels of the minor leagues. Violators will be warned and expected to correct deficiencies in their minor leagues at the soonest possible time. If the offending owner fails to correct the problem or becomes a persistent offender that owner will be subject to removal.

Post here or sitemail double-a. We do not generally accept owners with no HBD experience but will consider you if you have solid experience from another game on the site.

Great world, very active chat

Both teams in decent shape, AL South 2 had been a juggernaut with only one owner in the history of the world

It's been a fun world and is getting even better. Competetively balanced. Only 2 teams last season went under the .400 winning% and both were first time offenders. Only two teams won over 100 games. 85 wins gives you a legitimate shot a wild card in either the AL or NL.

One of those teams has only had one owner for 23 seasons and has won at least 90 games for 11 seasons in a row (and counting--it will win 90+ this season as well).  You should jump on the opportunity--this team is primed for a championship run this year and has a good minor league system for easy, sustainable success.
