in DI to move up what are you looking for.

I am looking at maybe moving to a better conference next year. Right now I am the coach of Radford and I am looking at moving maybe to the Horizon league which is a C rated conference. I would like to go to Ill- Chicago because of recruiting location but I am also looking at Marquette.

Marquette has 3 scholarships available next year and has a C+ rating this year.

Illinois- Chicago doesn't have any scholarships that come up next year and C a prestige. I think it has a better area to recruit from than Marquette.

What would you suggest?

Isn't Marquette like an hour from Chicago?

Give or take.  Personally (and I say this as the coach of Northwestern) you might not be that bad off in Milwaukee - HD distance isn't driving distance, it's flying distance, so you'll be even closer to the westernside side of non-UP Michigan.  Plus, Marquette's got a better baseline than UIC.  I'd suggest you go for that job over UIC.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will probably look at Marquette. Not sure I want to sit out a whole recruiting season with out taking on any new players.

Marquette is higher baseline. Baseline matters quite a bit.

i would take Marquette between those 2 choices and it would not be a tough decision.

And I hate Marquette in real life (go badgers!)
