Just goes to show that nobody is safe!  Lots of great coaches there!!

I know that's why DI is so scary - what if you can't turn it around in time!

DANG!!!

Hmmmm.  Pay your money.  Build your team the way you want.  Play tough competition but get beat.  SIM takes team.   Priceless.

Tell me why we pay for this again?  Just thinking outloud here but It just seems wrong to have to start over when a coach probably has some of the pieces in place.  Won't it take several seasons to build back up to even the same level of success the fired coach just had?  Doesn't that mean more money spent to maybe be beat down again?  Again  Hmmmmm.

Maybe they can just switch the teams amongst themselves.

That doesnt make any sense.  Pola went 32-36 over the last 6 seasons at Marquette which was much better than what the SIM had done before that.  Wareagle had10 win seasons 5 of the last 6 at Colorado.  Not sure why they dont fire the SIM at some schools and beg human coaches to take over those programs.  This would explain why there are so many great coaches that never leave D2

i agree that it doesn't make any sense, just thinking about it logistically.  doesn't wis WANT these worlds to get filled?  well, now it's nearly impossible to have a completely user filled world because of rigid rules.

more users in a world should = lower standards for non-elites (elites should always have high standards i'm yet to have an opportunity to apply to one)

I still have one season left (bought a 5-pack), but I can assure you after this fiasco, this will be my last season with this ID.

F "Populate Heisman"!  LOL.

C'mon, this is Virginia! George Welch coached there for 18 years with a sub .600 winning percentage! Al Groh managed 5 games over .500, but lasted 9 years there! It's not like they take their football seriously!

I deserved to get fired....  I put very little effort into it after about my second season there when I realized how much I hated the engines erratic results.

This was my last season at Marquette anyways, but I think other than a couple of cuts that need to be made the team should be in a good start shape for someone to take it over....

I'll be gone next year from Northwestern - in jeopardy after going 42-27 over 5 seasons (more wins than the Wildcats had in the previous 18 seasons) and a level 4 bowl in my 4th season. Losing bowl games and missing the CC game by 1 game for the 3rd straight season spells doom.

On a #populate heismann note - Western Kentucky's coach moved up and left soph QB John Ray behind... check it out.  What a great player, I wish I had snagged him for my West Georgia team.  If you are looking for a great DII landing spot - there it is.
