What makes a good short yardage back, third down back, or slot receiver?

No matter what the question here I think you will get differing opinions . This question will be no different I think.
 Anyway, my ideal
Short Yardage back I want high strength , then elusiveness, then the secondary attributes of Ath and tech.
For 3rd down back I figure it means he will have to be able to catch passes often enough so I want my 3rd down back to be a good runner(just in case) with the best pass receiving attributes of my rb's(speed, elusiveness, tech, then ath. )
Slot receiver I never set. I let the A.I. do that. And I have run some incredible passing offenses so that has worked fine.
      Best of luck.

short = more str and ath but not either starters
3rd down = better receiver version of your RB but again not a starter.  I want a fresh player playing
slot = sometimes I put my WR if I have equal or very good backup #3 & #4,  if I only have 3 good WRs than Ill put my best GI/tech/hands in slot

Short Yardage:  Strongest of my starters..or in a 1 back system, my strongest of the top 2 or 3.

3rd Down:  Best hands of my starters...or of top 2 or 3.  Like above, assuming he is gonna need to catch a pass.

Slot:  Best TECH of my top 3 WRs.

Short Yardage: Strongest most athletic and elusive behind my starter

3rd down : Best blocker along with best hands

Slot: My 3rd best WR overall, i don't specialize for this.

I like to use my fastest WR as my slot.
