So you're resorting to repeating your failed point. Good job, bis lite.
SS couples can apply for a marriage license.    Equal rights right there.

Anything else?
But they can't get one. What purpose does the restriction serve?
You have to pass a test.

Test for a marriage license:  Non-matching genitals.

SS couples fail.    Simple as that.

How many times will I repeat this before you get it?

Finish the sentence:

The purpose of that requirement is...
5/3/2013 2:12 PM
Oh, I get it now.   If you can't pass the test, make the test easier.    Yeah, that's why we're the worldwide leader in education!!!!!
5/3/2013 2:13 PM
Oh, wait, the US isn't number 1 in education?   Wonder why?

What kind of weird fishing license test do they have in Idaho?  Any state I've ever bought a fishing license in, the test was "Do you have X dollars to give me right now?"
I don't fish.  Beats me.  But I know you need a license.
But there's no test involved in acquiring one, unless you consider handing your credit card to the clerk in the sporting goods section of your local Wal-Mart a test.

If that's the requirement, that's the requirement.    I guess, if you don't have enough money, you can't get a license.    SS couples have a little trouble with the marriage license requirements.   Simple as that.

IIRC, there was no test for a marriage license.   I just had to meet the requirement.

Tests to get a license serve a purpose. Driving. The bar exam. Insurance. Etc. What purpose does the gender test serve?

Fine, what purpose does the requirement serve?

To restrict people who fail to meet the requirements from getting a license.    Duh.

This is going nowhere, bis lite, because there is no reason to prevent gay people from marrying.

Well, if you throw out the fact that they fail to meet the requirements to get a marriage license then you're right.

But, out of curiousity, did you suddenly discover this was going nowhere on page 132?

That seems to make you a bit slow.

Well, if you throw out the fact that they fail to meet the requirements to get a marriage license then you're right.
Yet the requirement serves no purpose.

Highlighting your stupidity has become somewhat of a niche for me.
