I'll take the fireman theme (#31) ... I should be able to come up with a BP with 135 saves ... If anything to prevent my dangerous bud Tato from taking them again! ...
2/25/2014 3:01 AM
I'm going to go with #75. Thanks
2/25/2014 4:05 AM
I'll try the Double Trouble theme
2/25/2014 4:18 AM
I had 200 Hit Boyz (#59) last season at 140M cap and made the playoffs, where I got Yazzed! ...  I think that a decent team could be put at 100M cap. I was surprised to find 29 players under 5M (Ralph Garr, Matty Alou, Al Oliver, Bill Buckner, Buddy Lewis, Mark Grudzielanek, Michael Young et al) that had 200 hits at all positions but catcher- where you have to pick a Mike Piazza or Joe Torre at slightly over $7M ... Even at between $5-6M I found a few decent old-time OF's like Sam Rice, Charlie Jamieson, and Jack Tobin! ... And you could have over $50M left for your pitching staff! ...
2/25/2014 4:25 AM
I will try number 13 please
2/25/2014 6:48 PM
#45 - 2004 Theme.  Throwing it back to my childhood.  Going to have fun with this one
2/25/2014 7:53 PM
#105 - Not Born in the USA.
2/25/2014 10:03 PM
I will try #26 please thank you
2/25/2014 11:22 PM
gotcha guys, thanks!
2/26/2014 11:18 AM
in with #78
2/27/2014 3:14 AM
I took firemen (#31), but another team I considered taking was #10 (A Walk as good as a Hit- 1,000 walks required from position players) ... Just after a quick look, I came up with the following players at under $6M: C Gene Tenace 1B John Olerud 2B Eddie Stanky 3B Eddie Yost SS Luke Appling OF's Roy Cullenbine Rickey Henderson Topsy Hartsel ... A decent bunch and you should still have about $50M for pitching! ...
