For the record, I did not ask to have a specialty called "winning." I have an ego when it comes to this game for sure, but I'm not that bad. :)

haasdr should get an asterisk telling that he won a NC with an alaska team. i can't imagine that too many coaches have done that, and he would be a wealth of information for anyone wanting to coach in alaska or hawaii.

Just to help out, stewdog and colonels19 are both incorrectly linked. I was just looking around to see their resumes, and realized that those two bring you to an error page.

Just to help out: My specialty is getting to the D1 championship game and losing. I've done that 7 times in the last 10 seasons.

Tkimble, thanks for putting this together.

Hey guys. I've had various quasi-mentors over the seasons. Several guys have helped me greatly to make leaps. A good mentor got me from losing seasons to winning seasons. Others helped me to get to the tourney every season and I think good advice from other seasoned coaches helped me get my Wisconsin Lutheran team to a #1 ranking and an A+ prestige for a while (it was brief). What I need help with now is just consistency. I think that after almost 50 seasons of the game I still struggle with recruiting the right players. I've tried to swear off JUCOs to try to build my team and I'm hoping that will help with my Piedmont squad in coming seasons. But to be honest i'm just frustrated. I don't mind losing but I do want to be able to at least compete at a high level every season for every team. I feel like I'm an average coach but I really would like to get one or maybe two mentors who can help me go through my teams player by player and really give me some good advice and direction on things as they are now. I'm hoping from there I can figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm all in at the D3 level right now.  Most of the mentors I've had have been more in passing and I'm at the stage now where some more specific advice would be huge. I would promise to pay it forward for new coaches as well. I'm always willing to help any coach who asks to whatever degree they ask so I'm hoping there is someone out there like me (just with a lot more success!) Lol

I know if I site mail a bunch of coaches someone will say yes but I really want to find someone who has a little extra time to help me. Sometimes coaches say yes but really don't have the time to help me with 4 teams. I'm not looking for someone to coach for me. Just someone who can help me analyze my teams and give me some pointers on where I've made mistakes with recruiting, maybe game planning and then I can take it from there.  I think I've reached the limit of what I can figure out on my own without a little help. Thanks
