See? That wasn't so hard.
Here's why I somewhat disagree. College teams evolve as the season goes along. 18-19 year olds are slammed with a lot of info that they can't fully digest. They're playing in front of 80,000 people for the first time. They're playing against athletes who are as good or better than them for the first time. So, while I think home losses are horrible, I'm willing to forgive one early in the season if A) it's against a quality opponent and B) they have the opportunity to "make up" for it by beating quality opponents.
SC got hammered by TAMU. TAMU appears to be a quality opponent. SC had GA, Mizzou at home and Auburn, FL, Clemson on the road.
LSU, also using a lot of 1st time starters, lost at home to Miss St. LSU has Auburn, FL, TAMU on the road and Ole Miss, Bama at home.
I think both of them could mature and be "in the hunt" if they can somehow run the table and reach the SEC championship. Unlikely but possible.
Ohio State lost to VaTech at home(who lost to ECU and GaTech at home). Problem is they only have one quality team on the schedule. And that team lost to Oregon. I just don't see how their loss can be excused.
