Obviously* it should be Kershaw, right?

*I'm a homer when it comes to the Dodgers, so I may not be seeing this in the most objective light.

And the AL isn't even worth debating. Trout will finally get the MVP he deserved in 2012 & 2013.

173 strikeouts.  That's a lot of unproductive not-advancing-runners outs.

Is it that time of year again?

Yes, I'd also vote Kershaw and Trout.

It's also funny that BL says "it isn't worth debating", because I think he claimed that Trout deserved MVP over Cabrera's triple crown season in 2012 with that same statement.

I would guess he did that on purpose.  I also noticed that.  I chuckled.

Luckily, Trout was very productive in the PAs where he didn't make an out.

Is that also not worth debating?

Feel free to try. I think it's obvious that Trout was very productive this year. Seeing that you're mikeT23-lite, I'm sure you're willing to enthusiastically argue on the wrong side of anything.

See: Edgar Martinez's walk rate was too high.

Trout has been productive this year, though not as good as he was in 2012 and 2013.  I would question whether his MVP worthiness is beyond debate.  Your man-love for him has once again jaded your already dubious judgement concerning baseball.

Also, the "Edgar Martinez walk rate" argument was not mine.

Nothing with BL is worth debating.   You'd be spending your time more wisely by kicking yourself in sack or pounding your thumb with a hammer.    And those two options would be more productive and less painful than discussing anything with BL.

Who's close to him in the AL this year?

RE: Martinez, so you don't think that Martinez should have walked less?
