The big question is will he load up on RP now or take a SP sometime soon?  If he's the last guy to take a SP (I mean his first SP is taken after everybody else has their entire SP staff), and he still wins this league, I will have to reevaluate my thinking on pitching.

I very much doubt I'll win the league, so there won't be need for re-evaluation. In fact I'm not even trying to win the league; I'm trying to win the WISC. I don't think the same strategies are suitable for both. The way I try to maximise the probability of winning a league is very high risk, and wouldn't maximise my probability of winning the WISC.

so what I gather from that is you are trying to ensure your team doesn't blow up?.....interesting - I try to win every league I'm in.  Your high risk strategy involved in maximizing your ability to win a league sure seems to be working!

This reminds me of the Woman's Bantamweight division of the UFC where they are all calling out Ronda Rousey but no one has a chance in hell of beating her.  But I will still  take the under also on BrianW winning at least 92.5 games in this league. Heck someday even Ronda will lose.

Yep, not blow up is the aim. Of course, you might think that the way to do that would be to be very balanced, and have some ok starters, some ok relievers, some ok position players etc. I don't seem to have done that...
