I'd like to try to with the fightin' Boston Terriers of my alma mater, Boston University. However, it looks like I can field exactly ten guys (one HOFer!) from BU, and most none too good. But I can make a plenty fine team out of their major league teammates. I recognize it's not totally in the spirit of the league, but it does fit the letter. And it's an interesting team construction process, plus it allows me to use the unheralded baseball program of my school. So if there are no objections... Let me know if this'll be ok.

No problem at all.  If you have 10 guys who have at least 1 season in WIS, then go for it.  The number was set at 10 so that more schools would be able to make the minimum and be able to participate.

Welcome tycho88!

Team entered, spent hours on it... not that I'm complaining.  Was great fun.   I ended up with 12 MSU Spartans. Way too many IP and PAs. I decided to look at that as a positive rather than the negative it really is.... no fatigue concerns.   Am hoping to get Sparty to .500
'79 Rick Miller     Angels
'83 Larry Pashnick, Tigers
'68 Larry Jaster, Cardinals
'67 Al Luplow, Pirates (slash line of .195/.247/.260 in 238 PAs, but allows the .357 BA Clemente to be placed on the squad)
'81 Gibby, Tigers
'68 Bruce Look, Twins
'57 Hobie Landrith, Cardinals
'72 Steve Garvey, Dodgers
'65 Ron Perranoski, Dodgers (pretty over priced with a bb/9 way to high for my liking, but it gave me a B+/A+ SS and, of course, use of the '65 Koufax)
'87 John Leister, Bosox
'80 Ron Pruitt, Indians (who welcomes the cookie, Miguel Dilone to the team)
'65 Robin Roberts

That is an interesting/challenging question.  I have been thinking of it as a 4 year college league and hadn't thought about whether to include Juco's or not.  Let me think about that and get back to you tomorrow.  It doesn't look like there are too many junior colleges that could field teams.
Hi jpeterso!  I thought about it and checked with the teams already in and it will be fine for you to go with Sacramento City College.  Welcome!

Love this idea!  I'll take the University of Missouri (Mizzou) & we'll play games at Busch III.  Do the core guys have to play a certain amount?  Thanks much!

Mizzou and Busch III are yours aaronwayne.  You do not have to play your core guys any minimum amounts.  As long as there are 10 you can configure your team how you'd like.  Welcome!
