I played in a 1961 live draft with 0soup4u as commish.  We had 16 teams.  We did not have prospects.  There was not a major issue with innings and at bats.  Owners simply built their teams as they wished.  I was short with both, but won a division. The same thing can be done here.  You can also add rounds to draft for additional players.  I created a theme today for test purposes to see if it is possible.  The added players are found and listed under prospects.  You add real 1961 players with additional prospect slots.  It is simple.  I am not a fan of any prospects unless they are from 61 and drafted. Prospects are a luck of the draw no matter average or below-average.  It is simply my opinion.

if we have enough, I'd rather RL players than AAA prospects

that said, if we use AAA prospects I'd prefer 4/2 (positions/pitchers)

I like dicunc's idea for expanding rosters

I second dicunc's idea. I sent Bingo a sitemail about something similar, though not as detailed

I'm going to be out for a couple of hours and will check back when I return to see if there have been any more picks.

I'll tally up the votes on the AAA question then too. There seems to be significant enough risistance to my proposal, and I'll likely take up something along the lines of what has been proposed by dlcunc and mini.
