The Wailing Onions is a fun, drama-free league of WIS players going and were just wrapped season 28. We have about a half-dozen players that have been around since the first season and a large group that have been in the world for at least 15 seasons. We are newbie-friendly and our only rule is a 50/110 MWR that we have never needed to enforce.

Austin (NL South/83-79): Same division as Richmond, but a team on the cusp. Previous owner went AWOL after committing for this season. Made a 16-win rebound to .500+ status between the last two seasons. It's a good team that could be great with the right owner. If I were shopping for teams right now, I would happily take this one.
Richmond (NL South/71-91): This is the hardluck team in a tough division. But, a savvy owner can make this team work. It has four regulars with a .800+ OPS and an team average 4.52 ERA.
Toronto (AL North/66-96): Toronto is going to take a bit of elbow grease. The previous owner had to be replaced midseason for going AWOL and it was tough for our ringer to get things corrected. It's an average club in the weakest AL division in this world. It returns six players with an .800+ OPS, though the pitching needs help.
Syracuse (NL East/59-103): I'm not going to lie...Syracuse needs work. Remember the Brewers of the 1980s? This is a freeswinging ballclub that recorded more strikeouts from the batter's box than the pitching mound. This team is seven seasons away from its last World Series appearance and two seasons since it was plus-.500.
