Well, I clawed my way to .500 overall a couple of weeks ago, only to submerge again. With a 5-1 session in today's PM2 games, I am back to .500. With apologies to contrarian for whining, I'm starting to understand how Sisyphus must have felt!

Faced down DeGrom, Fried, and Maddux in the $70m league, all in the same game. Zip-Zip to the 13th, when opponent loads the bases in the top half. Mop-up Julian Tavarez induces an inning-ending DP from Juan Soto! Bottom half, Joe Morgan singles and HoJo doubles to the wall for the walk-off winner!

A 7-run explosion in the Friends league, capped by a grand slam by Pujols off Jansen, and I'm over .500 for the first time since literally Session #1.

OH YEAH!!

Regardless of what happens from this point forward, it's pretty cool to say that I had the sole best record in the "4th 162" of my first tournament. Being by far one of the least experienced owners in here and this being my first tournament, that's definitely something to be proud of. Hopefully it sets up for a competitive stretch run!

Nicely done. It's definitely something to build on.

It probably says more about how badly I started than anything, but I'm proud to have improved my record in each set of 162 so far.

All 6 of my teams are 54-56, 55-55, or 56-54. That has to be some sort of record. Do I get bonus points if everyone finishes exactly .500?

2015 Kershaw with a 1.38 WHIP and 5.18 ERA, pitching at Dodger Stadium in a $110M league is something I really need help understanding. RL HR/9+ of 168...15 HR in 233 IP, yet he's already allowed 22 in 160IP.

LHPs do not get a fair shake in SLB.

Yikes... this is quite a feat.

A number of years ago, I believe it might have been user ff09 that had a similar record, where he finished right around .500 overall in round 1 without a single playoff team... as all six of his teams were very close to .500.

Are all your teams also close to .500 in 1-run games? Or is your ExpWin% also close to .500 on all six teams? If so, this is truly the definition of average.

You definitely got the worse version of 2015 Kershaw in your league.

You definitely got the worse version of 2015 Kershaw in your league.

My '18 Scherzer has already allowed 11 more homers than he had in RL in that league too. My team is middle of the pack in HR allowed, so it doesn't seem like it's just a homer-heavy league. I'm playing in a pitchers park and two of my 3 best starters are giving up a ton of long balls. Even my '15 Greinke has already surpassed his RL total, though his overall numbers are fine.

57-63 record since the midway point. Nobody else in the top 40 overall has done worst since then. I figured there's be some regression. But geez.

I'm not exactly what anyone would call an optimist, so I've been expecting regression since Opening Day. Part of me believes I'm going to hit a triple mauch every single day. The miracle is we've passed 100 games without it happening yet.

Redcped’s domination has been incredibly consistent and thorough so far. Every team and every 1/6th span of games. No weaknesses or slumps - very well done.
