I should finish in the bottom 10% for all 6 teams. Teams are brutal.

...maybe it's just me, but i'm seeing a lot more position player fatigue than i expected already...i've been playing scrubs on all my teams to avoid getting killed when the damping wears off...if this keeps up it could get nasty...

Aside from getting points from winning a division, any guesses on a rough winning percentate needed to qualify for the top 24? I'm thinking about .550?

Another 1-5 cycle leaves me sitting at 20-40 so far...Not a good start..I usually ignore the first 10-15 games, slow starters usually rebound. Hope this holds true...

Last year the cutoff was around 530 wins across the 6 themes - but those playoff points matter a ton. Area51man won 2 championships in round 1 (I think) which propelled him into the top 24 overall.

So, I made sure I had all the settings correct. Did all the player higher higharchies. Set all the pitch counts and autorest featues. Set all the lineups. What do I forget to do? Copy one lineup to handers in the pre1900 league. So what did old sprky come up with? He had good 'le John McGraw playing catcher for me. I almost did a backflip out of my chair (The chair is broken on one leg, so it did almost happen) when I saw McGraw starting at cathcer. Thank god I caught that early on in the year. Only 3 games played and he had 7 pass balls and only 1 error. That could have been a terrible season there.

I am only one game under .500 so far. (My cheap power league started a day late).

I failed to draft a backup catcher for my Brooklyn Dodgers franchise team.

Poor Roy Campanella is gonna get tired.

3 4-2 cycles in a row gets me to 32-46. Better than I was a 20-40...

2 1st place teams, 2nd, 2 3rd place and a 4th place team right now...I'm still hopeful at this point..

40-35...with only 2 teams over .500.

42-36... 3 teams in 1st place and 3 teams in last place.

Reminds me the time I had Foxx and Gehrig on the same team in a high-cap league. I drafted Foxx to play catcher and before the season started, went in and changed Foxx to catcher. My team underachieved and I barely missed the playoffs (lost by a game). When I started looking at the stats, I was stunned to see that I allowed something like 350-400 SBs at 90% rate and had 150+ passed balls. Only then did I realize that Lou Gehrig had been playing catcher for me all year.

I really need to spend more time reading boxscores.

40-50 after a 20-40 start. 5 4-2 cycles in a row helps...

My ~ 1448 IP is in the same shape in that league. And, I'm playing in a pitcher's park.

Also, I can't stand it when people use strong offensive parks in low cap leagues when it's not required. You spend a lot of pitches in those games.
