Round 1 Themes, 2023 Topic

Just to be clear, for the $100M team: one or two of your teams can be over .500 as long as the cumulative total of the 3 is below .500?

Yes, the cumulative total of the three teams must be at, or below, .500

Maybe there's some self explanatory way of organizing the bingo clusters you posted, but I'm not seeing it. Maybe you could format one group to actually look like a bingo card for us.

Not sure what you mean. The Bingo data does look like Bingo Cards. Every card is displayed as a 5 by 5 grid. Maybe try a different browser?

If you site-mail me your email address, I can send the excel file with the cards.

This is how it's displayed for me, using my laptop (w/ Chrome browser)

Yup, looks fine to me

I'll try a different browser. Thanks guys. If that doesn't work I'll get the excel file from schwartz.

Good themes. The 100M theme is particularly challenging.

One suggestion: for the Bingo Card themes, you might want to make it a rule that teams include which Bingo Card number they are using in their team names. This will help with roster verification.

One question: for the 110M "Two Clones" theme, can the teammates of the two chosen clones be clones themselves? Lets say Chipper Jones is your hitter clone, can you roster several versions of Greg Maddux as long as they were teammates in the rostered years?

Overall good themes- bummed we didn’t get a $40-$60m league in there though

For round 2 of the bingo, are you allowing duplicate players? Using a different method will still allow for reuse of some of the same years. Can I use the same players from those years?

I'm letting schwarze answer questions as much as possible here, but there is no restriction on what you're saying.

For instance, you could use corners and have 1927 Ruth available and use him in R1 and then use one player per year in R2 and again use 1927 Ruth if he worked for you.

Yes, you can use the same players (same season).

If you clone Maddux, then that counts as your pitcher clone. You cannot clone more than 1 hitter and 1 pitcher.... and those players determine what seasons the rest of your roster comes from.
