...i'm in the astrodome...

55-44 so far. being dragged down by my 4-10 cheap power disaster.

Well .500 (51-51) fell pretty good about my first Championship. Did not see the brutal fatigue coming though. Having to throw scrub pitchers way more than I want and I have never had hitter fatigue problems this early in any leagues I have been in. This is going to be fun or brutal...We will see.

yeah, what is it with this fatigue? you could argue that pitchers fatigue more than average because they don't face any weak hitting teams. but what's the excuse for hitter fatigue?

Six games under .500 and sliding into the abyss. As the cap increases, my record gets worse - not unexpected. Battling fatigue here and there but mostly in my bullpen at the $140M level.

The dampening effect is a double edged sword. Everyone reads 100% and then come game 12 or 13, it all hits at once. Takes a few games to right the ship.

...too early to worry about or get excited over W/L records...not too early tp worry about fatigue...

I'm off to an overall record of 55-59. The 2 team twist team of the '07 Dodgers & Mets are the only one of my teams in first place, by 2 games. 3 teams are 2 back for the Wild Card and 2 are 4 back for the Wild Card. Of course I wish I was doing better, but I'm happy not having dug myself into any holes early.

Ugh.....was rolling right along until the last two cycles.

John has it right...fatigue, fatigue, fatigue. I Made a bad choice of going with another bench bat instead of one more 50 inning guy on one of my teams and I can see the slide not ending. I need a huge performance out of 19 Carl Mays today in PM1...Innings baby innings!

Speaking of fatigue - in one of my leagues, I put up a $200k guy as a starter to give everybody else a rest. Then something came up and I couldn't adjust the settings and adjust my lineup. So nobody but a starter got any rest and it screwed up my pen.

I thought my 80m team was going to have one of the best offenses in the league; I was far more worried about the pitching.

Of course, the pitching has been ok. Instead, the team has scored 29 runs in 15 games, or less than 2 runs per game. That's good enough for dead last in the league, and I'm 8 runs behind the 2nd worst team.

Needless to say, I don't know *anything*!

56-64, and only my $90M team is really struggling. Fatigue has been more noticeable than teams outside the WISC, or at least gives the appearance. I skimped on quantity sometimes, that's probably why. Roster limitations will do it...I'm seeing the fatigue improve, but only because of some juggling and 1 pull settings on a few SP...Position player fatigue is getting a bit easier to manage now...Been playing bench guys out of position to rest the weary starters...

if it wasn't for the 70 mil team, i'd be playing .580 ball. unfortunately, that team is 4-13...and all the hitters are tired. can i get a mulligan on that one?
8/17/2009 3:31 PM
Yeah, my $90M team is 5-15. I'm over .500 if you throw that one out...I have had to make lineup changes constantly to get guys rest.
8/17/2009 4:04 PM
...i'd say at least 10 teams in my 140 mil league or either at or over the edge of the pitching fatigue abyss...and that's starting to have an effect on the hitters...
