I like the themes. Simpler rules does not mean simpler strategy. Some past themes involved a lot of searching and record keeping, which is not the same as strategy it's just time consuming grunt labor. Glad we don't have much of that now.
Only issue is the $20m rule does not allow for much choice, I suspect a lot of repetition.
This mostly describes my thoughts towards the themes. This has been my thinking about the 140m league since looking it over.
Sentence 1 of rbow's post is the only thing I would change, adding 2 words. After "like", add "most of". The 70m with the DH is not something I look forward to with such a small time frame and lower cap. However, that thought is just after "eyeballing" the theme before doing any research.
These are a vast improvement (IMO) over some of the last few seasons' themes. Some of the past themes were just so time consuming, it took out much of the fun, therefore ruining the experience.
