Partially true, but 2 things I am happy to say haven't been issues over this game....

Nobody is blaming the refs and nobody is going crazy over the tablets not working

So it's your contention that no one can be as big a crybaby as Brady?    That's fair.

That's making the assumption you can get back in position to get that TD.   It's not like NE was marching up and down the field either.    4th and 1 from the 16 isn't a bad place to go for it.   If nothing else, Denver is pinned deep, NE gets the ball around mid-field(which is what happened) and are poised to try again.

fair point.  I probably would have kicked the FG, but I don't think it was an awful decision to go for it.  The announcer (I forget which one) actually liked the decision at the time.  The second one, you have to go for it given the time and score at that point.

I think the fact that Brady was getting blasted on pretty much every play was a factor.    With 1 yard, you can get a quick release and get the ball in play.    With 5+ to go, you've got to hold the ball an extra second to get the receivers into their routes so I think it's entirely possible that BB wasn't looking forward to 1st/10, 2nd/7, 3rd/5 and the like.
