I think you might have an old version of java.  TableRowSorter (the one it's complaining about) was introduced in version 6.  Try updating to the latest version.
Nope, that's not it.  Apple has it's own version of java and any updates to the program will automatically be applied whenever I update my machine.  I just did an update earlier in the week (both to my desktop and laptop, which is a couple of years newer); the tool won't work on either.
Try opening a terminal on the Mac, changing directories to the place where the Jar file is and type this at the command line:

java -jar <filename>.jar

That is what I need to do in Linux/BSD to get jar files to run directly.  Mac should work the same way.

Actually, yatzr and I found the solution where I had to rearrange the order of the java versions my machines can currently use.  When I put the 64 bit Java 6 version first rather than third, the problem was solved.

Here are a couple of suggestions for this tool, which has great potential.

1.  Filters by position instead of only one set of filters.
2.  Allow a color coding of miles (like Blue for < 360, green for 360-1000, etc.)  You could set 4 ranges (close, medium, medium2, long) with 4 colors and allow the user to input a max for each range. For example (180, 360, 750, 1500) would set up 0-180, 181-360, 361-750, and > 1500).
3.  For people who asked what S1 and S2 are, you can input different rating equations for different rating systems other than the default.

how do we put the equation into the slots? Id like to use my recruit ratings on this program , but do know how to put them in there.  I put 0.03 in there as a test , and hit save , all it did was put 0,03 next to it. how do we type the equations into this into this. a understandable tutorial would help me alot lol. Im not a computer savy guy. , but i learn fast.

For the equations, you can use +-*/ as well as ().  Use ATH,SPD,DUR,WE,STA,STR,BLK,TKL,HAN,GI,ELU, and TEC for the attributes.  Here's an example equation (this is the old guess equation for QB)

.04*ATH+.04*SPD+.10*WE+.10*(STA-40)+.21*STR+.04*HAN+.33*GI+.04*ELU+.30*TEC

Someday, I'll make a proper manual for this whole thing.

Are you trying to run the activation-1.1.jar file?  That's the only way I can imagine getting that error.

You were correct in renaming it to a .jar file.  That's the one you should be running.  What happens when you try to run it?

So after a season rolls over and im done recruiting, how do i delete that recruiting season from the recruiting tool? Like Rockne season 63 is done recruiting, will it update to season 64 or will that stay on the tool under recent recruiting?
