What gains will a player get with the injury bug with a back strain? It's for a pitcher.

Pretty sure it's just durability, stamina, velocity and health.

There was some discussion about a catcher with lower arm strength, but good accuracy might be a great weapon against basestealers.

I only have 18 mill in medical but John Feng was on the DL for 2 cycles. You can see the recovery in the first but no bump in the second.

I don't think so but I've seen more of that lately.   Not sure why.

What's your assessment of the lineup? If you were setting out to improve the lineup do any changes jump out at you?

OK, I didn't copy/paste all those links but I did look at your ATL team.   It appears you went with power and not much else.   Your VR and eye are weak.    Contact is nothing to brag about either.   I think you've fatally killed your offense with a "homer or bust" production.   First thing I'd do is try to increase OBP.   That's eye and contact.

What are your thoughts on Lefties vs righties in terms of pitching? Do you have a preference for one over the other, do you like a mix or does it matter? I find Lefties tend to have higher VL hitting but a lot of teams tailor their teams to have their hitters with high VsR with their VsL as an afterthought.

I don't worry about it with starters but I like to have a mix in the bullpen.   FWIW, my formula I use to evaluate pitching values VR considerably more than VL.   VL is still valued 3rd highest among pitcher ratings but VR carries the highest value.

Since, on average, there seems to be about twice as many RH batters (maybe more), I always valued VsL 1/2 as much as VsR. Do you think that is about right, or perhaps too low?

I ask because you stated above that VsL was still valued 3rd highes, and I count it 4th. VsR/Con/Pitch value THEN VsL. I've always struggled with deciding whether Control should be 2nd or Pitch ratings.

Which one of those two do you consider less important than VsL?

With one more season in AAA, what would you expect from this guy in a ML bullpen?
